On November 29thC 2007Cgroundbreaking ceremony for the new factory was held at Mukaihigashi-cho in Onomichi city along with guestsC persons concerned from constructor and persons concerned from our company. The ceremony was started with the groundbreaking by the president of Onomichi DockyardC Yoshikazu Hamane. The new factory will begin operation from July 2008.

WAKANATSU is the first ship equipped with Auto-Lashing Device in the worldC and the device is functioning to reduce crew's labor remarkably. Onomichi Dockyard spent totally 8 years to develop the Auto-Lashing Device.
